Fastjet customers who select the FlexiFlyer fare option for flights on fastjet’s Zimbabwe network will be the first to experience the airline’s new product attributes and benefits which now includes Dedicated Check-in, Airport Lounge services and Priority Boarding.
The launch of such facilities and benefits aim to make the ground experience more expeditious and comfortable for those who need that extra time before making their way to the airport or would like to spend some time working or resting at an airport lounge prior to boarding.
The new services are at no added fees or charges to the customer, as it is a fully inclusive benefit of the FlexiFlyer fare. The new offering is based on the airlines view on the importance of customer experience, placing customers at ease at critical touchpoints of their journey as the airline continues to focus on superior customer experiences for all.
FlexiFlyer customers can breeze though check-in by using the Dedicated Check-in counter with an exclusive queue. This service is available in Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and Johannesburg airports. Once the check-in formalities have been completed, customers will receive an Airport Lounge voucher for their use at a prescribed partner lounge located in the departure area after security checks have been completed. Lounge access is available to FlexiFlyer customers from two (2) hours prior to departure.
Fastjet’s boarding procedure starts 30 minutes before and closes 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. As part of fastjet’s exclusive offering, FlexiFlyer customers may skip the boarding queue and head straight to the front of the line. The benefits of Priority Boarding shall remain subject to the airport facilities and any constraints at each station.
The new benefits offered by the airline for FlexiFlyer customers complement the existing free baggage allowances (two (2) items of checked baggage) and unlimited flight booking changes subject to prescribed conditions.
