RE: FASTJET ZIMBABWE ROUTES UPDATE
Fastjet Zimbabwe is pleased to confirm that the Zimbabwean Ministry for Transport & Infrastructural Development has approved the airline to include additional frequencies and new international routes to their current route network.
Fastjet’s Zimbabwe Accountable Manager Ed Berry commented saying that “they are grateful for the positive response from the Ministry which enables the airline to continue with their plan to expand their network, contributing to the development of business and leisure tourism to and from Zimbabwe”. He further added “there is much work to be completed before the new and additional flight operations commence, this includes fulfilling additional requirements as prescribed in the Bilateral Air Service Agreement for the new international routes. We can assure the public that, as a proudly Zimbabwean airline, we are delighted to be able to provide these services to the people of Bulawayo, Matabeleland and Zimbabwe”.
Further information on the development and launch plans for these routes will be communicated by the airline at a later stage.
