Flight update - 09 August 2019

UPDATE 1: 09 August 2019


Fastjet Zimbabwe wishes to advise its valued customers that one of its aircraft that was to operate a scheduled flight between Johannesburg and Harare earlier this evening was hit by and damaged by a 3rd party operated airport service vehicle whilst parked on the ramp at OR Tambo International. There were no passengers on board at the time of the event, and no injuries were sustained by crew or ground personnel. Customers have now been transferred onto another fastjet flight to their final destination with delays.


This event has impacted on other flights that were due to operate this evening, and as a result of this our Harare to Victoria Falls, and Victoria Falls to Harare flight has been rescheduled to tomorrow morning due to Victoria Falls Airport closing times. Affected customers have been notified. The revised flight times are as follows:


Sat 10 August: Harare to Victoria Falls | Departure 10:00 – Arrival 11:10

Sat 10 August: Victoria Falls to Harare | Departure 11:40 – Arrival 12:45


Customer not wishing to travel tomorrow morning are entitled to claim back a full refund.
