Bulawayo, “The City of Kings” sprung into the social scene, with this year’s edition of The PiChani event, held in the city on the 9th of October.

The PiChani curated by Gilmore Tee, is a Pan African premier, fashion, lifestyle and networking event held annually in Bulawayo. It brings together young achievers from different fields of interest in Zimbabwe and South Africa for a networking night of glitz and glamour.

Running under the theme “Spring to Life” the glamourous third edition of The PiChani event featured some of the region’s lifestyle and social media powerhouse icons, such as Zimbabwe’s top radio personality and influencer Misred and South African award-winning content creator and Forbes Under 30 alumni Mihlali Ndamase.

Befitting to the event, Africa’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazine, Glamour Magazine editor-in-chief Nontando Mposo attended the event, and her presence radiated the red carpet. Former Miss Zimbabwe, Samantha Tshuma was among the local guests together with other notable individuals in the fashion, music, and art industries.

The PiChani featured a fashion show by Zimbabwean award-winning designer Haus of Stone and a live mannequin exhibition by Bulawayo based top visual artist Neville Starling.

Fastjet Zimbabwe proudly sponsored this edition of The PiChani with flights from Johannesburg to Bulawayo for Mihlali Ndamase and Nontando Mposo. In celebration of the event and all things fashion, the airline for everyone ran a competition at the event with the winner flying away with two free tickets to a destination of their choice on the fastjet network.
