Zuchini pie

I really enjoy zucchini pie – it’s a simple, easy recipe – perfect for families or singletons needing to quickly whip up a flavoursome dish with minimal effort.  The flavours really do complement each other and the ingredients can be found at any grocery store. 

As an added bonus, zucchini is really good for your body. It contains protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, folate, iron and magnesium to name a few. 


  1. Pre oven to 175ºC

  2. Roll the pastry out (on a clean service) to fit the pie dish. Sprinkle the surface with flour or corn flour to avoid the pastry sticking to the table.

  3. Spray the pie dish with spray and cook.

  4. Place the pastry into the dish, shaping it. Trim off all excess pastry.

  5. Place the zucchini, cheddar and feta into the dish.

  6. Whisk eggs, cream, paprika and origanum together.

  7. Pour the mixture over the zucchini and cheese.

  8. Place into the oven and bake for 25 minutes.

  9. Remove from the oven and brush with olive oil.


Serve hot, and enjoy.
