Fastjet launches schedule for Mozambique Domestic Flights at Mozambique International Tourism Fair

Maputo: African low-cost airline fastjet launched its schedule for domestic flights in Mozambique today after winning its second successive award as Africa’s Leading Low-Cost Airline at the World Travel Awards in Kigali, Rwanda last night. This is the second year that fastjet received this accolade and it follows the airline’s award in June this year as Africa’s Best Low-Cost Airline at the Skytrax World Travel Awards.

 

Fastjet launched its schedule at the Mozambique International Tourism Fair hosted at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre and flights are on sale atwww.fastjet.com. The launch routes are between Maputo and Beira, Maputo and Tete and Maputo and Nampula with the first flight scheduled for 3 November 2017.

 

Fastjet, which currently operates in Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, is the first low-cost carrier brand to enter the Mozambican market. fastjet will serve Mozambique with Embraer E145 50-seater aircraft. Fastjet’s brand entry into Mozambique is in partnership with Solenta Aviation Mozambique.
