Find out if you can claim a refund or re-book your flight.

1. In the event of the death or hospitalisation, does fastjet refund Customers?

 

Fastjet will refund the value of an unused booking in the event of death or hospitalisation of a booked customer. A certified copy of the death certificate must be submitted along with the refund request. In the event of hospitalisation and official hospital invoice and medical certificate must be submitted along with the refund request.

Fastjet will not refund the value of an unused booking in the event of death or hospitalisation of an immediate family member of a Booked Passenger.  The booking may be amended for travel at a later date; the change fee may be waivered by Us with difference in fares and taxes to be collected. This change must occur no later than 1 hour before the original flight departure time, hereafter the ticket will be forfeited.

 

2.  Will fastjet refund my ticket or booking in the event of a flight delay or cancellation due to Extraordinary Circumstances?

 

If, due to Extraordinary Circumstances, we cancel a flight, fail to operate a flight or, fail to stop at Your destination, We shall rebook You onto another fastjet flight to Your scheduled destination on an alternative date without change fees (fare differences may apply).
