Although we do our best to avoid flight delays or cancellations, flight times can change between publication and your date of departure. As a result, fastjet do not guarantee flight times.
Fastjet flights could be cancelled or delayed due to extraordinary circumstances such as:
air traffic control
terrorist alerts and security alerts,
strike action, and
unexpected flight safety shortcomings.
In the event of a cancellation or delay, fastjet will inform you via SMS, phone call or by email. Guests are responsible for providing correct contact details at the time of booking.
If we cancel a flight, fail to operate a flight within five hours of the original scheduled flight times or, fail to stop at your destination, we shall, at your option, either:
carry you at the earliest opportunity on fastjet or where necessary, extend the validity of your booking; or
make a refund. This can be claimed through our Call Centre or at a fastjet shop. Alternatively you can make a re-booking.
Fastjet will NOT provide further compensation (meal/ accommodation vouchers) other than the refund of the flight ticket.
Fastjet is NOT responsible for missed connecting flights. We will ensure that Guests who book a connecting flight arrive at their final destination. In the case of delays, fastjet will accommodate Guests on the next available flight free of charge (please see our Terms & Conditions for more information).
