General Voucher Conditions

1. By acceptance of, redeeming, or attempting to redeem a Promotional Voucher, you accept and agree to be bound by these Promotional Voucher Terms and Conditions of Use and acknowledge you have read and understood these Voucher Terms and Conditions, fastjet’s Terms and Conditions of Carriage and Privacy Policy.

2. Promotional Vouchers are issued at fastjet’s discretion. No employee, agent, or representative of fastjet has the authority to alter, modify or waive any of these Terms and Conditions.

3. The Promotional Voucher is to be used for payment against a direct fastjet booking when a fastjet flight ticket is issued. The amount that can be used is mentioned on the Voucher.

4. The Promotional Voucher is valid for six (6) months from the date of issue and can be used to purchase a fastjet ticket for travel on any fastjet flight departing within the validity period of the voucher. No extensions will be granted.

5. Vouchers may only be redeemed for fastjet flight bookings secured via the fastjet website at www.fastjet.com, or a fastjet sales shop or airport ticket sales office. The same shall not apply for a booking secured via a travel service provider.

6. To redeem a Voucher on the fastjet website, the voucher number and PIN must be entered into the respective voucher fields on the flight booking payment page.

7. Only one Voucher can be used per booking.

8. Promotional Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other fastjet promotion or sale.

9. Promotional Vouchers will be sent electronically via email to the Voucher recipient. Vouchers will be issued in the first name and last name/surname of the recipient as supplied by the recipient.

10. Fastjet does not accept any liability in the case that the first name, last name/surname or email address of the Voucher recipient is misspelled.

11. Promotional Vouchers are non-endorsable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

12. These Vouchers cannot be bartered or sold and doing so will render them invalid.

13. Promotional Vouchers are non-transferrable and can only be used by the owner of the Voucher or passengers travelling together with the original Voucher owner, at the time the Voucher is being redeemed.

14. When making a flight booking, the first name and last name/surname of the first passenger must match the name details as printed on the Voucher. It is the responsibility of the Voucher owner to ensure that the Voucher, as well as the flight booking are made out in the correct name and last name/surname of the passenger per the owners Government Issued Identification Document or Passport as required for travel.

15. Promotional Vouchers can only be redeemed for flight bookings made in the same currency that the voucher is issued in. i.e. Promotional vouchers made out in USD currency can only be used against flight bookings quoted in USD currency. The original currency of the Promotional Voucher cannot be changed or altered by anyone in any way.

16.  The Voucher amount will be applied to and deducted from the total flight fare (fare plus taxes plus extra services).

17. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid using one of our accepted payment methods either immediately or within the booking ticket time limit if applicable.

18. Should there be any credit remaining after the redemption of the Voucher, the remaining value of the Voucher will be adjusted and will remain valid under the same conditions (no refund or extension possible). The remaining credit may be used to pay for future bookings, provided these are still within the Voucher validity and travel period.

19. Any flight tickets paid in full or partially with a Voucher are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the fare family of the purchased tickets. Should a non-refundable fare family ticket be booked, the Voucher will be non-refundable. Should a refundable fare family ticket be purchased, the residual value of the Voucher will be issued to the original Voucher holder and only be valid for the remainder of the original Voucher validity period.

20. The owner of the Promotional Voucher will be responsible for their Voucher and indemnifies fastjet of any liability should the Voucher be lost, stolen, or used by any person other than the Voucher owner without the Voucher owner’s permission.

21. Any fraudulent or abusive behaviour in order to benefit unduly from a Voucher, is abuse of the benefit and fastjet reserves the right to cancel the Voucher, and/or not to honour any related bookings.

22. These Promotional Voucher Terms and Conditions shall be read in conjunction with our General Conditions of Carriage, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

23. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notification.

24. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe, for settlement of any dispute which might arise as a result of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
